The Nazis took this bollox a step further by racialising everything, propagandising their pseudo science. The most amusing is that nazis decided to categorise Germans as Aryans, a people originating from Iran and the Punjab. Having a (vague) connection to a Jewish parent does not make one necessarily identify as Jewish, (except in the minds of nahtsees). Finally, there's no evil scheming plot from these people you've decided to identify (or stigmatise, in your case) as Jewish. They have nothing to do with one another, they are not a monolith.

  26. @DustinDonald-cz9ot  you're mixing up quite a lot of things here. To most people, being Jewish is just a religious identity. To others, rabbis etc, it's more than that. Jews have assimilated over centuries in non-Jewish societies. Some have converted to other religions. And some non-Jews have converted to Judaism. Anything to do with race or ethnicity regarding Jewish identity is pseudo scientific at best. The Jewish religion is supposedly inherited through the mother, but not the ethnicity. These are two different things.
