  1. I bet in the next ~25 years, automation will make chip design and fabrication so streamlined that CPU/GPU costs will effectively diminish to next to nothing. You'll be able to get high-end SoCs for the same cost as a regular potato chip. This will make cloud computing effectively free sans the cost of electricity, and with the rise of renewables, I think we're seeing a future where compute power is free for everyone.
