This is foolish, don't get in a car you don't know how to get out of, I always tell my passengers how to open the door if the battery fails, it is easy, just a manual latch.
11
So you don't know about all the cobalt that is mined by children that is used to make gasoline then. 10 times that used in EV's.
9
@ldewproductions7271 If that were true, how did they get here from China?
8
Bad for ICE cars they can't even park there any more, unless they want to be towed.
4
@moogoatcluck7544 Just for saying this you might get in trouble, maybe not saying anything would be smarter..
4
That's why none are for sale, those for sale don't meet your description.
4
@oledennis6918 If you knew the secret of keeping a battery going in Az, they last 5-6 years at least for me, don't tell anyone though. I only use batteries that are not lead now.
4
@ejh1100 Stats prove Tesla's are the safest cars in the world, how can that be? Is someone making this up? Ask the insurance companies if lives are being saved.
4
@JimMcGrath25 Add that the price to repair will come down as more EV's are on the road and the price of owning a gas car will go up as they go out of use.
3
@TS-wh4ey Then why are the cars moving so fast in and out of the lot? Older ones are going out and newer ones are coming in according to the people watching the lots. They are just holding them for their new customers. When I was down getting my Cybertruck, they were selling a new car every 15 min., on a Sunday.
3
I am sorry to hear you have no money.
3
Electric motors have only one moving part, how complicated is that? Or are you saying that ICE cars are to complicated?
2
You need to get your eyes checked, the Tesla is obviously sharper. (Think about it).
2
@WayneBain Carvana does store excess cars and trucks at their lots, I go down and check on them once in a while. It is mostly a nearby dealer that doesn't have any room left because they can't sell their ICE cars and trucks.
2
No, you paid $4,000 for a car that needs constant maintenance.
2
I see you have blown a head gasket and gone off to never-never land.
2
@ragtowne When did Scottsdale set this new record for temperature?
2
@perryallan3524 But Tesla is a fantastic success.
2
@jakefriesenjake A miracle has occurred! Just buy a Tesla and all your problems go away!
1
@gravanon1577 I drove my Tesla model Y round trip 1850 miles when I first got it, I got over 300 miles range, its rated at 310.
1
You are in luck! the only ones like that are only for sale in China!
1
@cedhome7945 Most muggers are afraid of electricity and people sophisticated enough to use it. (That's because they actually learn from their mistakes, they prey on the weak and ignorant).
1
@icedriver2207 It was to expensive, for now.
1
I actually don't know anyone that is charging at home that is using 115-120 volts, I heard one guy was that never drove very far, that's it.
1
@threeballedtomcat9380 Yeah, that aluminum wire is a killer. My neighborhood is all 200 Amp. service.
1
@roysimpson9711 Tell that to the dead and injured.
1
@icedriver2207 The studies that were done show ICE cars are ten times worse, that's why you don't see them, they are trying to hide the information.
1
@davidblofield3323 You are dreaming. There have been many EV and ICE car fires and the concrete never melted.
1
How can you not agree with a misquote? Musk has said, "I might know more about manufacturing than anyone alive on earth since I have been doing it longest." and I agree with that.
1
@martentrudeau6948 You mean kill over two million people a year and injure several millions? Where's the good in that? If you don't know where these numbers come from, you are not adequately informed.
1
@simonlangmead7 It wasn't true that ICE cars were winning back then until Kettering introduced the electric starter. Then women could drive ICE cars. The battery needed to be developed and wasn't. Edison had the battery they needed but ran out of time and money.
1
@JimMcGrath25 Its a matter of they don't want to.
1
@onerider808 No one has demonstrated that to me. There are millions of them enjoying your discomfiture however.
1
We did, and now we don't. in 1910, they made plans to shut down NYC because of horses, didn't happen. Now we switch to all electric and all our cities will be saved from the pollution that is killing us.
1
@JimMcGrath25 No, the answer is minus 25%, not zero.
