  37. You are being fooled by someone putting extra gas in your tank when you aren't looking. 440 miles / 17 mpg = 25.88 gal., which is more than the 23 gal. tank holds. (Real mpg rating as recorded by owners, not EPA rating). I think you are just making this up.
