  1. On getting your electric car totaled by the insurance company; I was told that they are worried about the electric parts being damaged where you can't see it later causing a short or a fire. and that's why they total the cars. I don't know if this is right or not or if it should be a thing that they do.

  3. Other pictures of cars being hit and pushed by semi's show an entirely different outcome, that is incredible! The car was not totaled. No one was hurt.

  11. Just goes to show how many things you have to do wrong to crash a Tesla. (In most ordinary accidents its 6 or 8). The Tesla display does show outside temp., but you have to actually look at it. Its easy for the ground to freeze before the air temp. is 32 deg. F. in the mountains because the road surface radiates heat directly into space. The ground is what actually heats the air in the first place. You just have to learn these things, the car can't read your mind (yet).

  17. It's not really unusual for Corvettes to protect the driver, they are plastic (Fiberglas) which looks like it explodes in an accident, absorbing much of the shock.

  21. Although hard to identify, that is not a tank but a U.S Army self propelled howitzer probably 155 caliber. You lose if you run into one of these.

  24. Had a farmer named Joe Little try to run me over with a trailer that broke off his tractor coming down a hill while I was standing in my front yard, I was saved by an Oleander bush. (No chains). That was at Little's Lower Farm.

  25. I raced my father's MGB in my mothers BMW and he crashed after having it only 2 weeks. There were no injuries, when we got back home my mother said what happened? So we told her. Later my father said to me, how come you didn't hit me? (because I was so close to him when he spun out). He went on to win many club races and I went from the mines into the USAF. I drive a Tesla model Y LR.

  35. I was a passenger in my Cyber truck when exactly the same thing happened to me, the truck took an evasive maneuver around a car we surely would have hit otherwise.

  38. The only other time I ever heard of someone crashing 3 cars in 2 weeks was when I was a system operator for APS. My co-operator for SRP, Joe A crashed 3 cars that he bought from another SRP operator Joe D inside of 2 weeks. Joe D said he would not sell him any more cars ever.
