@vihansubramaniam3593 like what the gazans did to the jews?
1
@samthompson3750 you seem to be completely ignorant of the situation

FreedomofSpeech FreedomofThought zionism has nothing to do with supremacy. I suggest you read a little more before commenting

@vihansubramaniam3593 you don't seem to understand what I'm referring to. When Israel gave Gaza to the Palestinians, all the Jews had to leave the homes, farms, and businesses that they built. Look it up. And please do not use terms like genocide (the murder of an entire race) where it clearly does not apply.

@ottovonjizzmark9864 do you realize that both Christians and Muslims are free to access their religious sites in Jerusalem and are protected by the government and army? And that there is a mosque on the Temple Mount which Israel allows to be supervised by the Muslims and JEWS are heavily restricted from ascending?
1
@vihansubramaniam3593 why did they rightfully have to leave?
1
@vihansubramaniam3593 well if we're going with whoever had the previous majority, the Jews win hands down
1
@vihansubramaniam3593 correct, they were the majority previously, and they're the majority now. According to your criterion of majority rights, they should have the rights to the land.
1
@vihansubramaniam3593 the ottomans were turks, by the way, not Palestinians, and jews were definitely restricted where they could live and were also occasionally forced to leave under their rule.
1
@vihansubramaniam3593 much of the time they got along, correct. But they weren't treated that great either.
1
@vihansubramaniam3593 i don't know what you mean by "ethnicly from there." If you mean their ancestors being native to the region, historians agree that the Jews have the older claim. If you mean in the recent past, it's also not clear what percentage of the Palestinian population was there for very long. Many emigrated from Egypt, Algeria, Bosnia in recent times.
1
@vihansubramaniam3593 but jews did have a continuous presence in the land for over 2500 years. My original point was that if you say it's wrong to evict Palestinians from their homes, it's also wrong to evict Jews from theirs. Many many Jews in Israel today have roots going back a number of generations before the state, many going back centuries. It seems there are many that are not aware of the history of the region. It's always disturbing to hear about people losing their homes, but context is all important.

The irony of this comment...
1
@lb5353 the fact that you quote this article (and posted it 3 times) that besides the intentionally misleading title does not report any case of Israelis intentionally murdering children, pretty much proves the case that your original statement is a lie, and you have no sources to back it up.

"Palestine" has not been "removed" from any map. The region (originally called Judea) that was renamed Palestine in the 2nd century by the Roman empire has been renamed yet again to Israel and Jordan.
1
@PatrickStar-br7um you have no idea what goes on there.
1
@PatrickStar-br7um no you won't know enough if you just look at gaza. That's my point
