@ellismail7196 based on his comment's likes, obviously he's speaking for many others, too. Go on, gnash your teeth!

The interesting thing is how Spain declined so rapidly after expelling the most talented segment of the population. Spain, once a world power, has never recovered.

@skepticalcynic3022 so sad to see someone so frustrated with life that they need to blame their problems on others and resort to paranoid conspiracy theories! I hope you get to rethink your path in life, and consider how your "heroes" ended up.

@estrellasboxisticas6360 not really. Roman Spain was colonized by the visigoths after the fall of the empire. Since then, other peoples have also ruled and lived there. Spain is a mix of different races and cultures.

@bloodwrage they wouldn't convert. Anyone not converting was expelled according to the Alhambra decree of 1492.

@ameerulaqmalmalek9470 you probably are having trouble googling because you can barely write English

@IbnRushd-mv3fp learn history before you try to make a clever comment. Spanish people did NOT live in the Iberian peninsula for "thousands of years". The original Iberians were colonized by the romans, who were conquered by the visigoths, who were conquered by Arabs, than berbers, than reconquered, etc. And most jews are Levantine. Sorry if this bothers you.

ShomoGoldburgler what a loser. Entire identity simply to make antisemitic comments. Lol! Rent free. It's actually a weird compliment.

The original Iberians were colonized by the romans, who were conquered by the visigoths, who were conquered by Arabs, then berbers, then reconquered, etc. In the meantime, who DID retain their cultural identity for thousands of years? The Jewish people.

@skepticalcynic3022 super interesting to see someone so frustrated! Did you lose your job? Were you caught stealing or something? Blaming an entire people and believing in conspiracies won't help you succeed. Sorry you're so bitter! (And no, the "golden age" only lasted while there were still crypto-jews. Once they were gone, Spain crashed for good.)

@bloodwrage they wouldn't accept catholicism. Anyone not accepting catholicism was expelled according to the Alhambra decree of 1492. You could have just googled your question, unless you're trying to insinuate something.
