Please don’t get a wolf dog. They are too wild for you. Believe me. Wolves belong in the wild. Get a husky. Get a malamute. Anything but a wolf dog. Thank you for saving him and his litter mates.

Cats choose the person they know will help them. Every single time a cat has chosen me. On the night of my high school baccalaureate service at a downtown church, I saw a little kitten who was covered in oil. I never found what car he rode in to get to town. He came home, got a bath and food. He was called Reginald, Reggie for short. My dad named him.

Thank you for taking her in. People don’t realize how much time they take and how long they live!! I’m so happy to see her in a loving home. So many don’t get this.

Thank you for saving him and for not listening to the naysayers. My current dog is a lab pittie mix. She so lovable and friendly. She has more friends in my neighborhood than I do!! 😂 People in my neighborhood take her for walks and love her so much. I wasn’t worried about anything once I met her. She followed me all over the yard of the house in the country where I went to get her. She still follows me everywhere. She prefers the floor, but goodness, she loves me as much I love her.

I don’t understand. Why has nobody adopted him? He’s adorable. He might not be able to see well! Where is he? I’m praying that someone will see this video and adopt him!! He deserves a great home!!
47
Thank you for taking him. You are giving him what he needs most in his golden years. Love, dogs and shelter.
34
All dogs can. My pit lab mix stood between me and the water meter reader man. She knows who to trust. I listen to her. The man did not like it. Too bad.
25
Awwww. I got Bella before I lost my Darcy. I knew what was coming and I needed a dog. I don’t know if I could without doing it that way. I always have a dog. Always. Both of them chose me. I loved Darcy with my whole heart, but I know myself too. So, now I have Bella and an 8 month old kitten named Scout. I got her for Bella. She’s a doll. Thank you for saving him. It looks like he saved you too!!

Why do people get dogs if they are just going to surrender them? How can anyone surrender such a love bug? I will never understand. I have a pitty mix.

I have a pit mix. I live in Mississippi. My dog brings me things too. She woos. She knows me. Better than any dog I’ve ever had. I’m so thankful you saved him. Bella was the last pup of a lab pit mix litter out in the country. She was headed to the pound and I took her home. She wanted to come with me. She followed me around the yard for 15 minutes while I was deciding if I wanted to take her. You’re right about our shelters. We have a great guy at ours. He works with rescue shelters up north. He tries so hard to save them all. Bella is beautiful thus the name.

@houdinididiit he also had the wilderness outside his front door. Most people don’t live in the wilderness. So, you uncle had a special experience and I’m glad he saved the wolf. I’m trying to discourage people from getting one for the suburbs.
8
We don’t deserve dogs. You are a dog handler. Thank you so much. Very loyal dog. Hero for sure.

@houdinididiit yes. And every animal is different. I’ve just seen so many surrendered to sanctuary situations. The wolf dog has so much wild, people can’t handle them. Smokey sounds like an incredible animal. I wished I could have a lion cub. Then my vet got one. He ended up euthanizing it. He could not handle it. He wore Radar’s tooth around his neck as a reminder. He did have snakes and other animals. But the wild deserves to be wild. I don’t remember where he got the cub. But Radar was adorable as a cub. He brought them to our school to show. In the 70s.

Thank you for adopting these dogs. It’s beautiful.

Oh goodness. I laughed so much at this!! He’s beautiful and a great mimic!! Barbara!!! 😂

This makes my heart so happy. I have a lab pit mix. She’s the biggest baby. I can’t even tell you how much she is loved. Not just by me. My mail woman, a neighbor who walks his pit takes her along. Lord this dog is loved. And she loves. She was raised by me with love. Thank you for saving him.

Where?
3
Oh Lord he hops like a bunny. Or antelope!! 😂 I love his singing. My Bella follows me like that. Nose on my bare leg. 😂

It’s a beautiful thing to see a man melt when he finds his dog. I know how he was. Daddy didn’t ever have his own dog. He grew up on a farm. They had farm dogs. I got a poodle as a gift at 9 years old. He melted when she would snuggle up with him. I love this video. Thank you for taking her home and making her feel safe again.
2
Thank you! She chose you. That my experience with dogs as well. A box of puppies brought to my work. One, Darcy, whined and pawed at me. I put her on the floor, she came right to me. She was German shepherd mix. I loved her so much. She taught me so much!! When Darcy was 13 I got Bella from a couple in the country. She was the last free puppy but her two brothers were there. Bella followed me all over that yard. I test this to make sure the dog wants me. So, you got really lucky. Your dog really loves you. Have a great life Zorra!! You deserve everything you are getting.
2
@hayleymariemills I know that. I’m speaking about the people who do buy them.
2
@Yoarashi exactly. I’ve had friends with huskies. They are awesome dogs, but they have so much energy. They’ll tear your house apart.
2
Thank you for taking her. You saved her life. She’d have died with puppies dead in her. She in turn saved an orphaned litter. She’s definitely part German Shepherd. She’s a great foster mom. Thank you for adopting her too. She’s a great dog.
2
Thank you! It’s a special job you do.
2
Thank you!
2
OMG he looks just like my dog!! She’s a pit mix that has the same mask!! Thank you for adopting him!! Lord he’s lovable!! 😊
2
Thank you for saving him. I’m glad he’s good with you. It could have been the opposite. Some wolf dogs are not like him. He’s special. I get so mad about people trying to live with wild animals. It’s awful for them and for the wild free wolves. It’s bad for tigers, lions, everything because of the illegal pet trade. At least he can live out his life relatively normally.
2
It’s a pit thing, I think. My girl is half lab and half pit. Bella loves nibbling on stuffed toys, blankets and really anything fluffy, like house slippers. Nibble, nibble, nibbling the fur. My girl was weaned at 8 weeks.
2
Thank you! For saving him and for giving him the time, love and space to be himself!! I’m so glad he’s having a better life!! No wild animal deserves to be caged. ❤
2
This made my day!! She is giving him more than you can imagine. Staying active and helping her is a good thing!! My mom had a little poodle. Believe it, until Honey, my mom slept alone. It was amazing that she let that little dog up on her bed. The same mom who did not like me sleeping with my poodle! It made mom happy.
2
Thank you! It probably was a family that didn’t want him after someone passed away. He’s a great little dog. And, why should he warm up to anyone he doesn’t know? 😂 He had been passed around. Poor baby. You’re right. He would never have survived the streets.
2
OMG. That is awful. She was pregnant and shot. I hate that pitties have this reputation. I have a lab pit mix. She loves people. Any people. She has more friends than I do!! I live on a dead end street in town. It took awhile for the neighborhood to get used to having her around. I let her off leash to go outside. She will bark at people she doesn’t know. But, she will stop if she learns who the person is and that they belong. My next door neighbor gives her a cookie every day when she comes home from work. People are always scared at first. She doesn’t leave my yard. She has never been a violent dog. I would never let her outside if she were. She’s a love bug. My mailman loves her. My ups man doesn’t. He isn’t sure I’m serious that she doesn’t bite. She likes other dogs. Her boyfriend is a pit that lives down the street. One day the neighbor across the street had people over. Bella kept barking. The visitor said you and me have to talk, you can’t keep barking. I saw and heard this from inside my house. Bella started wagging her tail and stopped barking. It was so funny. People know her now and pet her as they walk by and she is outside. She stays inside with me most of the time. I have a fenced I back yard too. But she climbs out. 😂

OMG that poor lion. I can’t believe anyone would be that cruel. A social species needs other animals. I can’t believe he’s still alive. It’s absolutely amazing. Thank you so very much for taking him and giving him a sort of freedom, with sun, sky, rain, clouds, and most of all, other lions he can roar at an communicate with. I hope he likes it and lives a long time. He deserves so much more than a concrete cage.
1
I’ve taught my six month old kitten to fetch. Maybe I should do more. Shes a rescue. She’s very smart too!!
1
Thank you so much for saving the puppy. It looks like y’all found a family with the cat too. I’ll bet the cat and dog keep each other calm when you do have to go somewhere. Y’all found a complete family by saving her.
1
I’m so sorry. This is awful for the bird. They bond with one person. His name is Eric. I’m glad he’s not self harming anymore. Behavior or medical I don’t care. I’m glad he’s better.
1
You and your organization did this. It wasn’t a miracle. It was you and your determination to see lions out of tiny cages onto grass in Africa forever. Thank you for doing this and for sharing it with the world on here. Mississippi here. You did an amazing thing for those cats. Hearing the lions, all of them, roaring at sunrise and sunset is the payoff.
1
@chaosdweller they are going to sanctuaries like these good people. Or euthanized.
1
I wish I could hug this couple. They have saved so many lions. It’s quite amazing what they have done and achieved by taking the cats back to where they belong. You can tell that when they roar, they are telling the area and any animal within hearing, I’m here, I’m happy, and I’m king or queen of you all. Thank them for me please.
1
You named a mastiff Poodle? That’s funny. Why? I had poodles for 30 years. I’ve had a lab pit for 5. They’re not alike at all. 😂 I’m glad you fostered him and decided to keep him.
1
I love her eyes. I have a pit mix too. Her eyes tell me so much about her. Thank you for saving her and for sharing!!
1
Thank you for adopting him.
1
Embrace his differences and put him with the cows. 🤷♀️
1
Perfect fit. Thank you!
1
You need to make plans for him. He will outlive you.

He’s beautiful but that’s something I can’t imagine. Birds can be crazy. My mom was scared of the parrot she said she’d feed for a neighbor. Buster wasn’t this big, but she was terrified of him. I had to do it. Animals know if you’re scared or if you care. I’d hand Buster a peanut and fill his bowl. His owner died. He was found a new home. He was never mean to me. Good for you and him. He loves y’all. His feathers say it all. My neighbor had a scarlet macaw. Lola was dangerous. She’d bite. But I’m glad you took him in. You’re right. Animals choose us. Not the other way around. My current dog followed me all over the yard of her birth place. She definitely chose me.
1
I have Scout, who could be his twin. Same markings all over her body. She’s named after the little girl in To Kill a Mockingbird. I just saw her and said Scout!! She is nine months old. I have a love connection with her as well.
1
I have a pit mix. She has more friends than I do. She a big baby. 80 pounds of baby. I love her grass rolls.
1
Thank you! I raised white mice for science fair. Babies so need their mama. You did a great job. Mice are animals too. They deserve help.
1
Dogs are so good at getting help for people who need it. Lassie did it on TV. Timmy is in the well.
