Let me emphasize, she has no choice. An interlocutory appeal stops everything in the trial court until the appeals court decides the case and if it sends it back. I don’t think it will send it back. I think the DC case is barred by double jeopardy. He was found not guilty in the senate. And, he has executive privilege. He did not break the law. Being found not guilty of the actual supposed insurrection means he cannot be tried for conspiring to commit it either. It’s ridiculous. Executive privilege can only be waived by the president then, ie Trump. I don’t believe ep may be waived by Biden. It’s absurd. Otherwise, the president would be subject to criminal charges after he leaves office every single time by the other party. Just my two cents. Not legal advice to anyone. If a president breaks the law, maybe. But these are all absurd charges.

@grimaffiliations3671 I don’t care what lying Mitch said. He’s not a good lawyer either. If he was held not guilty of the underlying crime, how can he conspire to commit it? If he truly broke the law, fine. But he did not. He said patriotically and peacefully march to the capitol. He is not responsible for the actions of other people. Why do you not understand that?
