The Carter administration was destroyed in 80. Reagan won in a landslide. Carter’s policies were similar to Carters and there were American hostages in Iran. The military tried to rescue them. Failed. Reagan won and Iran released the hostages. There were lines at gas stations. Inflation was off the charts. I remember how bad it was. I was a kid. But I remember. Carter is a great human being. But awful president. Look it up. Carter was weak on the world stage. His politics were awful for oil, anything that could help the economy. Deficit spending just like Biden. This is worse than Carter. I believe it will be huge. And Carter didn’t try to put anyone in jail. He did not leave the border open. He was an economic disaster.
