Yes. She is telling the truth. She can’t say Snowden is a traitor. That is a legal question for a court. Not for the committee to decide and declare in the Congress. Yes he allegedly broke the law. I can’t affirmatively say she is wrong. We have a presumption of innocence. And the government has been ignoring that truth. The government can’t call him a traitor because he has not been tried or convicted of anything. They ignore the constitution when it suits them but use it when they don’t want to acknowledge it. Snowden is innocent until proven guilty. He revealed classified documents to the press. That’s not treason in an of itself. The constitution is supposed to be applied equally. She could not just parrot what they wanted her to say. FISA is awful but it’s the law. Until it isn’t the law, we must abide by it. I don’t agree with it. We need support whistleblowers.
