It was completely avoidable. It’s a man made catastrophe. It’s not one thing either or climate change. It’s the Santa Ana winds that no one can stop. But, they come every year and these people don’t prepare for the issues that come with the winds. There are fires all over. Deaths have occurred. The government has failed at basic governance. You pay high taxes and expect the government to protect you from crime and fire. It’s a system wide failure. It’s failure upon failure. Trump told him this would happen. He understands the water management and forest management issues are compounding into this. Someone said a forest isn’t burning. I said it started in the forest above pacific palisades. It spread to inhabited areas. In 18 and now Trump told him he needed to clear the forest floors and stop diverting water. Newsom ignored him. Environmental issues should not trump people. Is it a depopulation agenda because of the climate craziness. It’s not dry due to nature. It’s dry due to Newsom’s diversion of water and forest management issues. The reservoirs weren’t fill. It’s mind boggling to see the arrogance and refusal to take responsibility for any of it. That sky news reporter nailed Bass to the wall there. She would not say anything it reminded me of Kamala.

Adam is 100% right. These people voted for crazy for 60 or more years. The reservoirs are not built because of red tape in the ca gov. It’s permits for everything and environmental this and that. It doesn’t work. You made your bed and it’s what they voted for. All blue state and blue city governance by utopian dreamers. The worst cities are just crazy. They have lost sight of the basics of governance. We need brass tack governance locally. It has all resulted in a fubar. Gov matters locally. Stop talking and do something. Actions are needed.

I’m a Gen X woman. I’m fatalistic. Cynical. And don’t believe in the best of people. Only use 10% of our brains. I do believe the world can be better but I’m just done with the anti human nonsense. The net zero movement is not sustainable. I can’t go for anti humanism.

The bureaucracy is so bad and big we must get the government under control. Bureaucracy is not in the constitution. Yet it’s a fourth branch of government without any basis in the constitution. I think the founders would be livid. The bureaucracy of the king was one of their biggest concerns with Britain. They didn’t mention profit. Yeah Clinton and Obama both were against this bureaucracy. The dems were not successful but that is not the point. We are done with 400+ agencies. And so many sub agencies we don’t know how many and millions of federal employees. It’s awful.

I’m not considered one because I’m not employed by the university system but I’m a lawyer. Intellectuals I thought I was one until this crazy crap took root in every single aspect of our lives. The causes were Santa Ana winds, dry climate, There’s no evidence that CO2 emissions and climate change. We may have a little bit of effect on climate but climate changes all the time. It’s not affected by money or anything else. Throwing money at it will not make a difference. Cutting emissions may be a step but does not help in any meaningful way. It’s the climate for the Earth. Mother Nature is a huge system. I took weather and climate in college in the 80s. I was upset about the fear mongers claiming the ozone layer had a hole in it. I learned that they are all lies. No mass extinction event is occurring. The polar caps are not melting. Whales are dying due to construction of wind turbines in the oceans. The noises are killing them. We are so fortunate to have clean energy. The rest of the world burns wood and cow dung. Seeing how the 3rd world lives is eye opening. I’ve seen ghettos in Haiti, Africa the continent, poor areas in South America. My granny washed clothes, dishes, everything by hand. Now we have machines. I still can wash dishes but I don’t wash clothes by hand. We’d hang sheets outside on the line. Lord the way they smell after the sun has dried them. So wonderful and you can’t bottle it. Aoc is just dumb as a rock. It’s all lies. The polar bears are not dying out. There’s no threat of environmental collapse. We have saved the bald eagle, the others which were threatened with extinction.

We suspected that USAID was throwing money away. Gone. You have to start somewhere. We have too much stuff and we need to purge. It’s got to start somewhere. Treasury has never been audited. Tell me why. I love the guy in Argentina. He’s great. He balanced the budget his first year. They say it unconstitutional. No. It’s not. The courts stepping on executive branch authority is the constitutional crisis. Trump may spend the money through the agency and reform the agencies. He’s the president. He deputized Elon to help. The president has the sole authority to spend authorized spending. Not create it like Biden did for student loans. The democratic process was using USAID to push its agenda overseas and for media everywhere for hit pieces on political opponents. They have no control over anything and the rhetoric is why. JFK started USAID. Not congress. It’s not interfering in politics. Or Congress. The president is in charge or implementing the agency and it’s funding. I’m not for a charity in government. Congress is supposed to be doing the acts and spending statutes. But the Congress delegated the powers to the agencies. He is required to faithfully executing the law and doing what he is required to do. Mandating vaccines is not allowed by any branch. Congress necessary and proper clause. It is not necessary or proper to fund a charity in government. Congress delegated its powers to the administrative state. They did this. The president must faithfully execute the law. We have agencies because congress delegated it. Regulations that are not written in accordance with the enabling act are overreach. Like the ATF says the pistol brace is a firearm. No. The court said no. The EPA can’t designate the stream in the property of a homeowner as navigable waters for their authority. A stream not even connected to navigable waters is not navigable. Clean water act does not apply. Wetlands either. Congress can take back its control. But they are lazy. Congress is happy to give the authority to the do all of this. He has the authority to hire and fire people, spend the money, and determine what it does discretionarily. The courts interfering in what Trump is doing is creating a constitutional crisis.

Newsom is so excited by the burning of LA. He wants to be involved in the Smart LA project. He’s excited about using the land use laws to take advantage of it. It’s just crazy. How he can do this with a dancing around with glee for the land use of the palisades and other areas. They want the land. I know what he’s doing. The man didn’t solve the homelessness in California nor did he take any steps to prevent or mitigate the fire risks. He’s a communist and so is the mayor. I think the man let it happen. I think he also wanted it to happen. Better brighter LA 2.0. No. He’s not getting any federal funding for this crazy crap. They take a crisis and redefine the plan. They knew the winds were coming. They withheld water from the aquifer under LA, didn’t build reservoirs and didn’t fill the reservoirs they had. These people allowed it to happen. They failed. Ca is a totalitarian hell hole. Argentina has a surplus for the first time since before they took control. A capitalist is saving it. Trump will never just give him the money to do anything.
