  1. Why is merit not the only thing that matters? I did not get into the law school at UVA. I didn’t assume it was because I was a white woman. But I don’t know. So is that fair? My GPA was stellar. Why wasn’t I admitted. I can probably say because I’m a white person. I went to University of Alabama Law School. I have a stellar education. Affirmative action is discriminatory in action and theory. I have always disagreed with it. It’s not constitutional under the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment to our constitution.
