Instructions are vital to make sure the jury understands the law. It’s a bookkeeping issue. I don’t know what the other crime is. It’s vital that they prove another crime to make the false bookkeeping allegation a felony. The case has not been proven. There are no facts that support an underlying crime to convict him of any felony. I know of no judge who would let a jury go home over a week and then get back to work. Why are they not sequestered? This judge is conflicted and should have recused himself. I agree that there was a financial motive here. It’s politically motivated. It’s selective persecution not prosecution. I support him because it could happen to anyone. This judge violated his 6th Amendment right to a public trial by kicking everyone out of the courtroom. He’s lost his mind.
