  1. It’s not the same. They signed a contract to pay it back. Not the same. I agree with the chairwoman about it not being voted on by Congress. PP loans were legislation. Student loan forgiveness was not. It’s unconstitutional. My father was in the Navy and got his education that way. Pharmacy degree.

  2. Student loan forgiveness is unfair to me. I paid my loans. It doesn’t lower the cost of anything. It just forgives the loan, that the signed a contract to pay back!! I do not support student loan forgiveness!! It’s unconstitutional and unfair!! This is not the same as PPP loans. The government shut everyone down. They were for businesses. Not a loan for school. The student is paying for a degree which should be valuable enough to earn money to pay it back. I paid for law school. So should everyone else. I also chose a state undergraduate and a state law school because it was cheaper. I own a 25 year old car because of it. I’m now disabled. And my fixed income is not enough. I’m sick of paying for everything else in the world!!
