  1. Merchant denied Trump a constitutional trial. He did not require the DA to name the underlying crime as required by the 6th amendment. He denied Trump the opportunity to be heard on a witness definition of a campaign violation. Due process was violated. The judge allowed the DA to refer repeatedly to Cohen and his guilty plea. This was a violation of Trumps rights.
