  1. Have you ever ignored a warning that you should evacuate? I have not. I saw a man say he started getting warnings on his phone on Monday. He evacuated his family. It’s like the warnings of a hurricane down south. People just don’t listen. I’ve left the coast days before a hurricane. Some don’t. Until it’s too late. Also, this fire moved so fast that no one could predict this. I don’t know why no sirens, but maybe because it happened too fast.

  3. It’s an island. Everything and everyone has to be shipped in. It’s not easy to get logistics together to get help out there. I heard a man say he did get mobile phone alerts, heeded them and got his family out. I don’t understand why he got alerts and others didn’t. The sirens are immediate action must be taken. Alerts prior to sirens are evacuation alerts to voluntarily evacuate. The people did not expect this to occur. They said the emergency leaders who were there sent out phone alerts but didn’t turn on the sirens. I don’t know why. The main emergency guy wasn’t on the island.
