  1. I love Dr. Swain. Gay stole her work to get published for her dissertation. It’s plagiarism. Duplicative language without attribution is plagiarism. It’s infuriating to say it’s not plagiarism. You can’t blame racism for your actions to steal the work for your own. She stole your work. I don’t understand how she can do this and get away with it. No. Blacks are not the only ones who can represent blacks in congress. Political party makes more of a difference. What happens when democrats lose control of congress. I don’t understand blaming race for your failures. Countering your conclusions in her thesis by just using the work as her own. No one took responsibility for her theft of your work. It’s an ethical breach to commit plagiarism. Students can’t but Gay can. It’s patently ridiculous.
