  2. They disagreed with legal advice from their legal counsel that they were wrong to do this. They knew it was defamatory. They inferred that the man was a criminal for trying to help in Afghanistan. How can they say this stuff and not realize it’s defamation. CNN attorneys tried to retract the story and defend the piece. They apologized but aren’t sorry. The legal team was right. They don’t care and they don’t want to stop defaming people. It’s not acting. They lie and it should stop. I don’t understand why they think they can lie and get away with it. I’m so glad you sued them.
