@Cirwlos incorrect. Marx saw Communism as a return to an ethos found in small, tribal groups expanded to a global scale. Communion, in a Christian sense, refers to the community of Christians and the ritual (as you said). The two are not the same. Furthermore, if Communism had its origins in Catholicism then why has the Catholic Church repeatedly come out against Communism to the point of saying you can't be a Carholic and a Communist?

@Automation2BFree you are incorrect. If the Catholic Church was created by the Roman Empire (presumably in the 4th century AD as others who make this claim state) then how do you have Church Fathers, Church councils, and recognizable practices that predate the 4th century?

@RonAlfonse-t7y I've got nothing backwards.

@brady3474 dialecticism is the practice of taking an idea, it's opposite, and melding the two together to form a new and better thing. For example, I can take bread (a grain based food) and meat (animal based protein) then combine them to get a sandwich. The sandwich is better than either the bread or the meat by themselves. Then I can take the sandwich (grain and protein) with it's opposite, fruits and vegetables, to form a BLT. I know this is a bit of a contrived example but it does show, however crudely, the process of dialectical synthesis.

@wowozer and yet Marx wrote a treatise called On the Jewish Question which some consider to be antisemitic.
2
@Cirwlos no Marx did not blame feudalism on Capitalism. In fact, he said that capitalism has its seeds in feudalism just like communism has its seeds in capitalism.
2
@RonAlfonse-t7y incorrect. You are confusing Fascism with National Socialism. In Fascism everything was done for the good of the state and was race agnostic (which is why there were Jews that were Fascists and were exempted from the antisemitic laws that Hitler demanded as part of the alliance between Italy and Germany) whereas National Socialism was rooted in the racial idea that only Aryans could form a nation.
2
@RonAlfonse-t7y no. The chosen in Fascism was the State. Go read The Doctrine of Fascism.
2
@Cirwlos Marx advocated for a propertyless and classless society last seen in primitive tribes. I never mentioned Protestantism. So, why did you bring it up?

@MichaelVandeventer-c3q if you understand the internal logic then you can understand why North Korea calls itself a Democratic Republic. If you don't understand the internal logic then it sounds like nonsense.

@brunods4560 if you read Doctrines of Fascism, he didn't say that Fascism was right wing but that Fascism was right. This was said immediately after detailing how socialism and liberalism were wrong.
1
@brunods4560 all that shows is there are a lot of idiots in the EU Parliament.
1
@PhilipNiemoeller he described in revolutionary terms in Doctrines of Fascism.
1
@RonAlfonse-t7y Wokism with its dependence on intersectionality is fascistic if you consider what a fasces was and why Mussolini and Gentile used the word.
1
@disgoyknows88 no. Nazism was a centrally planned economy that didn't nationalize a company or industry as long as they did as they were told.
1
@Automation2BFree Ignatius of Antioch, Clement of Rome, and Polycarp are some of the first century church Fathers that come to mind. As do the councils of Jerusalem, Rome, Carthage, Elvira, Ephesius, Arabia. Could it be that you have read biased histories that started from the conclusion they wished to prove and ignored all evidence otherwise?
