  2.  @aleksazunjic9672  weren't Marx and Engel predicting that the next crisis was going to be the downfall of capitalism? Yet it is still the best known means of distributing goods and services. The only compromise that was made by Volkish Socialists and Fascists was that they didn't want the bloodshed associated with direct state theft of private property. Russia taught them that lesson.

  3. The reality is that WW2 was such a complex conflict that the only thing to say is that the allies all contributed to win in the ETO & PTO (Hiroshima, the Soviet entrance into the PTO, and Nagasaki was the 1-2-3 combo that forced the surrender).

  5. Before watching the video my answer is no for the following reasons 1. America mechanized the Soviet Army. 2. The strategic bombing campaign forced Hitler to move units of 88's from anti-tank duty on the Eastern front to anti-air duty in Germany and degraded Germany's industrial capacity. 3. The other allies stopped Germany from taking the ME oil fields. 4. Invaded Italy at the urging of Stalin to divert whermacht troops from the Eastern Front. Having said that I don't think the allies could have won without the Soviet Union. I wonder how things would have changed if the allied powers didn't include the Soviet Union.

  7. Another issue comparing the fatalities between the US and USSR is that the USSR numbers include civilian casualties.

  9. I think the commieboos are assuming that the Soviets used the same tactics as the rest of the allies. I believe it was Zhukov that said when they came on a mine field they attacked as if it wasn't there whereas allied preferred tactics, generally speaking, that minimized casualties.

  13. I flirted with ancap but my biggest criticism of it is that it will result in fuedalism it idealism to think otherwise. However, if we are going to use an idealistic vision of society then I would use the analogy of the garden. The state should be the wall surrounding the garden providing shelter and protection; the soil is the market where people can peacefully compete; and we, the individual, are the flowers in all our exhuberent diversity. Without each being properly ordered, in itself and in regards to the others, they all fail and at terrible cost. Currently, Western Liberal Democracies have gotten completely out of whack. The wall is too big, the market too corrupted, and the flowers too vicious (opposite of virtuous) to have a long functioning society. Disclaimer: this is based on the Stoic Analogy of the Garden.

  16.  @aleksazunjic9672  the biggest threat to the country and the economy is not capitalism but Woke Marxism. Capitalism has had greater degrees of elites before in it's past and it's still here. Maybe stop living in the wishful thinking of Marx and Engels and come back to reality.

Now that isn't to say the capitalism that we have today is perfect but it is far better than any other one people have come up with.
