  1. Sweden has a smothering nanny state (in my opinion, but its a nice country and smothers relatively efficiently), including "healthcare for all". So none of this "omg they stole all the healthcare in America" applies to them, yet they were the first example cited. An over-spoiled existence sitting on your butt, overeating, waiting for experts and government to lead you may be unhealthy. Apparently particularly for men, who are killing themselves in greater and greater numbers. Go figure.

  2. What are bureaucrats going to do about it? Obamacare 2.0? 3.0? I'm in DC and people do nothing but talk about how more bureaucrats and lawyers are going to improve health, wealth and life in general. If you believe them I have a bridge to sell you.

  3.  @JorgeLuisInAction36  "The US" is not a person, it is a group of 330 million people. Don't collectivize eating. We have tons of vegetarians here, and vegans, and various other similar persuasions. I don't want the government (ie, the US) "going vegetarian" on my behalf, thanks. There are healthy vegetarian diets, and unhealthy vegetarian diets. Just like most other types of diet.
