@MJ98774 FATCA is not a voting issue in the USA. Half of us are sitting around on welfare not contributing at all. They literally do not care how much other people are taxed and regulated, and in what manner and how it may damage our ability to grow out of our debt or do business at home or overseas. Like the man says, its the guy who gets FATCA repealed will be removed from his job as president, because the idiot masses will vote against "the rich guys hiding money overseas".

Its literally impossible to know if you have filed a return correctly, unless its 1040EZ. Which means any time you sign a return it can be used against you and a crime can be found that requires payment + fees + fines + interest.

I see stagflation and loss of reserve currency status over time, I cannot see how we will achieve sufficient growth under a Biden/Harris administration to outgrow our debt bomb. This would seem to be a global issue, but for those of us stuck with dollars only it could be a problem, especially for anyone over 50 or so, because you will be dead before it corrects itself. Biden/Harris could last 16 years if they let old Joe live that long. So as much as getting out of America seems nice, the dollar needs a look too. My wife is from Argentina, we won't be moving there, that country is the definition of hot mess, with a side of Malbec to lure people in.

@MJ98774 Cheers. I actually just found this dude and I cant stop watching. My wife is from Argentina, she has really good radar for when a shitshow will go from ok to nokay, and shes less jazzed on her brand new US passport by the day. We aren't rich, but were comfortable, would like to find a couple boltholes to live without all the BS and hysteria.
