  1. I really enjoy your shows with positive content (such as the 5 great CDMX neighborhoods, or the interview with your Bogota tailor - see I really do watch!). The ones that talk about how crappy the US is/Americans are I generally skip. I understand why US born English speaking Americans are grouchy about illegal immigrants and might express this in the comments with some frustration. I am a LEGAL immigrant to the US I have found it a welcoming and lovely country full of nice people (and as you said, it has a great work culture). That said when I go to certain cities around the Washington DC burbs it is 100% Spanish, English is an inconvenience to them. I speak Spanish so for me it is OK but even I find it weird. The US does have a culture, you can assimilate and if you don't want to or hate the place, why live there?

  2. That's interesting because whenever I have gone to Miami I find it absolutely chock full of Central and South Americans who own vacation homes there and really seem to like it. They have much nicer things to say about the US than the locals. Not just refugees from Venezuela or Cuba or whatever, but really wealthy people who are doing that Trifecta thing, Spanish speaking style.

  3. ​ @JamesSmith-qv9qo  Its true! Miami is not my personal jam (but I'm warming to Florida!) however I never have to rent a hotel room when there. I can always find a friend or family member with an empty condo.
