  1. The new (awful) incoming German government says it will make getting a German passport easier, and relax the rules on not allowing German citizens to hold more than one passport. They also say they will allow you to choose your gender, so of course I want to go troll them and start my life as a German man as soon as this law passes. They say they will "reduce" the time to 3-5 years to put it in perspective. But the new government is going to tax everything even more than it is taxed now (its the stoplight coalition, with the useless allegedly libertarian FDP going along with the lefties and greens) so I would not bet the farm on the no cap gains on crypto thing going forward. They are going to have to tax everything to pay for what they are planning.
