@guilhermesalesferreiradaco2934 Ah, I get it. Chile is pretty orderly. I don't see the passport application getting lost until you provide a large tip for it to be found and processed, Chileans just aren't like that. Argentina is a different story, they are gonna start robbing you the minute you land there, but both have great "off season" skiing for people from the Northern Hemisphere. Cheers

As far as I know Chile has absolutely insane residency requirements that go along with their permanent and temporary residency permits. Stuff like be in Chile for at least half the year, every year, basically forever until they give you full citizenship which may be never. And Chileans are organized and love enforcing their laws, they will know if you are sneaking out. Its a nice country but I don't think it counts as one that makes it easy to go live there. I believe they are writing a new constitution right now, who knows what nonsense they will stuff into it before they are done. Might be worth waiting to see.

@clintweathers4755 The only thing i know about Brazil is that they have birthright citizenship like the US, nothing else comes to mind. Good luck, I love southern Brazil!

@davesmith5260 I am in! I love Brazil, I honestly don't know how anyone gets any work done there (maybe they don't? LOL) because so many Brazilians are so friendly and spend so much time saying nice things to each other when meeting - even when meeting people they know very well and see all the time. It must take 4-5 hours to get to your desk at work every morning with all the running around telling everyone else how beautiful, fantastic and wonderful you think they are today.
