  1. Here in the US it has been going on for decades. I cancelled TV ages ago because I just could not take "the current message" being pumped into my house in the guise of entertainment. My tolerance level is about zero these days, but it does seem to work on most people where I live - they do get programmed by the idiot box in the corner, and then they run their scripts and recite their talking points until they receive new programming. It is creepy. Oh, and they vote from their couches now, so the fabric of society and its laws become something inspired by Law and Order: Special Victims Unit episode 10498, the Kardashians, and Tik Tok. Its pretty bad over here.
