Aside from all the obviously terrible things about RoP I think that casting Galadriel as a main character with a plot arc and drama is a bit like casting gravity or fire as a main actor in a movie. She is a force of nature, something constant and fundamental. A plot arc really does not suit this sort of character. I honestly hope there is no season 2, seeing Tolkien being corrupted by Amazon and The Required Themes is becoming depressing.
