  39.  @m.r4841  except we can compare. US didn't contribute much in a way of troops but they helped a lot with supplies which lessened logistics burden on Soviets. Russian tactics haven't changed for hundreds of years.

  45. No, he is correct. Also Soviets litterally had the most casualties in that war. Gee, I wonder how could they fend off Germans when they were able to afford 5 times the amount of casualties. And then there was American lend lease help. Face it. The only reason they could do so well pre war was because they industrialised from nothing. Kinda easy to build economy while you have shit ton stuff to build while workers die off starving. And yet Soviets post war were doing economically worse and worse with each decade.   46. The alternative was a far more difficult invasion that would cost even more lives, especially American ones. USA pretty much won by that point and Japan was just being stubborn due to culture. They needed to be broken sadly.
