  22.  @bl5608  I never said democracy was the key. It's just you are claiming India is to democratic despite that by western standarts it's a step above autocracy. And I pointed out that other democracies don't seem to have this problem. Now to dissassemble the rest of your arguments. 1. Everything didn't use to be ''made in US''. They are succesfull because they took adbantage of both world wars and post those wars being in good position, all while more democratic than India btw. 2. Weapons yes, colonisation no. European nations grew in power long before age of colonisation started. age of colonisation was just contiinuation of their success. And democratising has helped propel them even farther. In fact UK at the height of it's power during British Empire was a form of democracy as parliament held the power, not the royals. Pax Britanica. 3.All three became sucsesfull with the help of the West. Hint hint. 4. Firstly, authoritarian government doesn't guarantee success, especially in modern times. In fact, in many ways they are worse because you can't vote them out. You can geta stupid but charismatic idiot in charge even easier. Secondly. Nazis also had their own system. As did Soviets. Nether was good. You advocating for something you clearly have no idea about and think it will be smelling like roses. China is capitalist dictatorship masquarading as comunism actually and again the success comes from the West investing into them. Taki a hint. Singapore did luck out but controling an equivallent of city state is easier than a country. They are not democracy though they do pretend to be one. They do seem to have lucked out with damn good government. Doesn't seem like India has that in modi so far. He ain't worst but he ain't great ether. Again, India isn't very democratic to begin with so your to democratic comment already makes little sense. and claiming to be the problem when your one evidence is one from hundreds of countries that was succesfull is weird. Again, a far better idea would be to cousy up the West. Since if you may not have noticed it, this is what helps most of third world countries rise up.
