@chrishuey9855 It was on their side but it wasn't part of allies. Notice that historically both are kept separate. In ether case, Allies were still the good guys, Soviets were the bad guys who agreed to work together with the good guys to defeat the evil guys.

Dunno, they seem to have changed a lot since ww2. Ever wonder why others follow them though? You can't lead without followers and if Germans are leading WEF, that means others see them as leader material.

Not really. Both could have beaten Germany had they acted sooner as Germany was weak at first, due to versales agreement. Had they attacked when Germany started breaking it, Germany would have been done for. But because their people were so anti war at the time, the appeasement happened and that allowed Germany to grow stroger.

@y.r._ Not exactly true. UK didn't ally with USSR against Germany in 1939 but rather in 1942. 3 years after invasion of Poland.And by this point, any ally was a boon. As I mentioned. They did indeed fight to prevent German rising imperialism and protect Europe. If they were out for blood, they would have gone after Germany once it broke treaty of Versales. What you actually doing is confusing ww2 with ww1, which was in fact the war with no good guys.

At the time Germany was one of the two rising threats and Allies chose the one they had better chance at defeating. 2. Allies began dealing with ever growing threat of communism after the war. Ever heard about attempting to catch two rabbits and losing both? Same here. As history has shown, Allies made the right choice in going after Germany first and leaving dealing with USSR to after WW2. 3. Germany wasn't the most powerful country in Europe yet. Probably wasn't even during the war since USSR existed and Germany did fail to defeat UK. 4.Not really. WW1 was a war with no good guys. WW2 was clearly a war with good guys {Allies} joined up by bad guys {USSR} to defeat the greatest evil of that century {Nazi Germany}. to this day we haven't seen evil at the level of Nazi Germany. Though some did try to come close.

Anyhow, the short post it is then. you being german and only being angry at Nazis for losing the war is both disturbing and invalidates your whole reasoning. So no, Allies beating you down first, was exactly the right thing to do. You simply wish they gone after USSR first or at the same time, because it would have improved your chances at wining that war.

@y.r._ Nope, the right thing to do was to beat you down. Nazism is far greater threat and far more evil than a communism. Not being a German makes me unbiased in this as I am not looking at things from the eyes of the fascist who is angry his country didn't win. Your entire opinion on Soviets being greater threat than Germans is indeed invalidated by you being a German. And Germany being more evil than USSR and China at the time is pretty much mainstream opinion and the opinion of German here is irrelevant. There was only one mistake in Versailles. It was in allowing Germany to exist in a form. Everything should have been split by neighbors.

@y.r._ @Y. R. If you want an answer, you need to ask a question first. But the answer to your question is easy. If Germany who is one of the few enemy countries responsible for WW1 was split, we likely wouldn't have had WW2 as Germany is primarily responsible for that war. Also, this was before the UN and even before the league of Nations, it wasn't illegal to destroy the country as multiple nations done that. And the third reason, Germany as an agressor lost the great war. And final reason for why they should have split, is people like you. Your whole belief that you had any right to revenge and your anger at a loss of war shows me that fascism very much still exists in Germany as you are no better then your ancestors who went the way of the nazi, though I hope that people like you are just a small insignificant minority. Don't be a drama queen. It wouldn't have been unprecedented. This might surprise you, but many nations by that point been ether destroyed or annexed fully by someone. Also, splitting Germany would have avoided the whole Holocaust.

It very much can. We've seen Russian army in action. It can't even fight properly with the country right next to it. We've all remember their 40 mile convoy to nowhere.

UK and France could have taken on Germany and won had they acted sooner. They allowed Germany to grow in power as the later annexed Austria and Chekoslovakia.

Same? Mind showing me an agreement between West and Ukraine on defence? Ukraine isn't even in NATO. West allowed the citizens to go join Ukraine army and has been suplying Ukraine with a lot of weapons and info, all while sanctioning Russia. How is it even remotely the same?
