  1. As a former bartender, Raves, nightclubs and the like are akin to a modern drum circle or spirit dance. The music, drinks etc put you in a trance like state and evoke a kind of euphoria, often with the help of real drugs too. Personally, I am social but don’t care about others perceptions of me, so I just pretend I’m alone and feel the music. I enjoyed it. But didn’t actively use it for mate-seeking.
