  1. Why would the AI stop at smart/efficacious humans? Assuming these things scale, eventually it would be economical to outsource all decision making even at elite levels. As for AI GFs, eventually everyone would have one even the stubborn and AI would take the gametes and engineer us as the hive sees fit. Hopefully some form of agency, sex, death and diversity continue to exist. As these structures are beneficial and have convergently evolved many times in Earths History.
