  1. Skilled immigrants aren’t a panacea. I live in Canada and it creates its own problems. High property prices, stiff competition for high skilled jobs and lack of workers for low skilled etc. even an illiterate and dirt poor immigrant base could be good, who doesn’t want $4 an hour manual labour or daycare?

  2. Malcom isn’t being disingenuous, he’s saying a good defence is offence. Have the kids yourselves or die off. I quite frankly think he doesn’t care what the future face of a country looks like as long as it’s life-affirming in the truest sense and technophilic/progress oriented.

  3. Calories per capita and all kinds of well-being metrics are at an all time high. Your predictions sound very Malthusian. Earth doesn’t have infinite resources, but our ability to use those resources in more efficient and better ways for survival is what defines us. Earth’s carrying capacity was 10 million when we were Hunter gatherers, 500 million as agriculturalists and is now likely in the 10-20 billion range. With AI and genetic engineering who knows how much more can be done. But if there aren’t new people around creating the innovation, then ironically, population decline could lead to LESS well being.

However, we’re on the cusp of some crazy shit. Creating protein from air. Lab meat. better Nuclear Fission and Fusion etc etc. If 0 innovation happens then yes we will eventually collapse, but we’re on the edge of a few green revolution style technologies AND the population is stabilizing or decreasing. The amount hectares needed to grow food per person has gone from over 2 to about 0.6 in the last 2 centuries. Imagine it halved again or we grew food in such a way that land wasn’t needed? There really is no limit with the right knowledge.

  6. Look at the races man. Even if you want to be a hard racist it’s clear they all have their own advantages. Hybrid vigour would create a brown super race. It’s clear, for example, that West Africans have great explosive strength and ability, Jews and East Asians seem to have the highest IQs. Etc etc. if you really want a “superior race” your probably want to take genes from the whole of the species rather than a small portion.
