  1. You are right in that an expat, an immigrant should know the language of the country he enters and plans to stay in, in order to understand and communicate with people. There is a farmer from the US who lives in Altai, he has his own YouTube channel in Russian (https://www.youtube.com/@senttosiberia). His Russian is perfect, score 10 out of 10, he speaks Russian better than many Russians, no mistakes and no accent, his vocabulary is extensive. I find this incredible! 😲👏

  2. The rabbits in the park are so cute. It reminds me of the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, where gophers are everywhere in the city park and visitors are allowed to feed them from your palm with food that you can get in the same park

  6. You're making progress in your Russian studies. Congratulations👏. If you master the conjugation of verbs, the declension of nouns, and cases, you will be able to speak Russian without any problems👌. That's probably the hardest part of learning conversational Russian. Because everything else, namely tenses (there are only 3 of them: past, present, and future), word order (any order, the main thing is that the meaning of what is said is not lost) - these are just trifles. Learning how to write grammatically correct Russian is already difficult, but you probably don't need it.
