YouTube brings out the nutters

If I had to do it all over again ( too old now) I’d join as an AF officer. Infantry keeps you grounded though 😊and lots of free ammo to shoot 😊
2
Short recoiling guns. More elevation the less room for recoil length
2
Lowest bidder syndrome
2
Shoot and move before tracking follows your projectile back to source
2
Don’t forget to let the air out of the turret ring seal before traversing
2
Collectors will be collectors. E for effort!! They should be thankful he was not selling to the wrong people. Suspended sentence because he showed them where their weaknesses were. And this never happened during and after WW2? Literally tons of stuff was liberated.
2
Manufacturing speed is most important, you don’t win having a couple dozen. High output production won the last world war not high quality and lower output
2
It’s always the person holding a firearm that is the frightening part
2
Highly unlikely this will sink in to those few. Don’t let them know that they are getting to you, just block them.

A light mineral oil is all you require for lubrication. For cleaning I have found penetrating oil can soften up carbon build up (good for artillery too) once you find the brand that works best. Both are less expensive than these small bottles of special gun oil that equates to $300 a gallon. Firearms are not engines requiring oiling so they should not be dripping with it. However,,,...... when you are told to have a spotless firearm this tool can help, like brushing all your teeth. Having cleaned more than my share over decades a cleaning tank and air compressor speeds things up, having problems cleaning, see a 421L. Last time I looked (too long ago) barrels were C class so go burn one out having fun lol (we did).

Train train and train again! So when everything goes to crap you have your shi.. together

never liked winter at -40. Blew up an immersion heater at 3am, woke everyone! I guess that dates me? Leopard tank rides ceased once the two met at speed. I won't elaborate in that one, was a long time ago. Gerbers are Canadian issue items. I collect bayonets and that current issue one is looking good, any spares? BUG spray for summer.
2
No combat firearm was made for bfa’s to be attached to them, no surprise they tend to fail.

Politics prevents acquisition especially in Canada. We’re the who’s who of greasing palms and if it can’t be made in Quebec, we’ll? It’s more importantly who makes the money rather than what’s best from a military standpoint. That’s how we operate. We buy used Leopard tanks, not to mention inoperable Brit subs.
2
What Canadians need today is a supportive government and funding. Morale would improve greatly 😊
2
more sense to attach fuel pods directly to the fighter jet.

C7/C8 much better 😊 With good ammunition you can get 1 moa groups 😊 Of course the FNC 1A1 is a tough rifle with greater range 😊
1
why not build a C8 from surplus Diemaco uppers and other parts less lower stripped receiver? New Colt Canada stripped lowers are available. For $1k you have a C8 that is mil spec with the best hammer forged chrome lined barrel you can get. These surplus parts have handling marks but haven't shot much at all.

an oldie but goodie!

When you don’t tense up it’s less likely you get hurt. That’s why many drunks walk away from accidents. Yup big investigation resulting in suggesting using night vision and quickly forgotten by next exercise.
1
No short Canada style bursts, some real suppressive fire
1
Barrel with laser for barrel droop measurements and insulation to keep barrel an even temp. Press a button to choose ammo type. The computer does the rest along with the laser lead lock so you can be on the move and your target on the move and still get a first round hit.
1
No night vision was the problem. Always cheap out by not supplying this one important thing. It’s the wrong idea that troops don’t need it and will only break and lose them so leave them in stores.

I would think black would work best in forests. Animals use black fur to great advantage, ever see a bear in the woods? Black with some vegetation in the foreground appears as shadows. Looking into woods you see quite a bit of "black" or very dark. Only their movement allows you to see them. This is why animals stay completely still if you approach until their safety distance is compromised and they run. Before the cavalry had vehicles no camo was necessary!! A shame that tanks being offensive vehicles are used for defence, it compromises their best assets.
1
there is no "unusual" weather in Canada, it's that we forget the past years weather.
1
Needless to say taking a 5/4 through a tank wash in Germany on an American base though the windshield was going to blow inward
1
don't sweat and it won't sting so bad. Throw some extra pellets on the heater.
1
Low bank rivers on flat land. A 4wd p/ u truck can cross where those tanks did until we see the Russian tanks going deeper. Coning tower you can totally submerge with engine drawing air from the cabin area
1
Lower cost equals more of these. Wars are won with quantity not quality. WW2 proved this.
1
120mm main gun, a 50 and a 7.62mm what’s not to like? First round hits!!!
1
I remember these in the late 80’s so they are getting long in the tooth as they say. If its armor remains relevant then upgraded is good
1
There may not be a place for traditional artillery in the future. Just like they thought cavalry would not be replaced but was with tanks.
1
beats torquing track connector bolts.
1
Drones firing destructive lasers will be a thing
1
There isn’t any delivery system to look for to destroy with drones
1
I recall them having a warning on the rear stating to stay back 150 yards, back-blast. A little optimistic for exhaust blast. Maybe it was 50 yards, sounds more plausible?

RHIP ! Upper crust families involved so a slap on the wrist. Seems to be something not unheard of in the past. Look at all the stuff that the British Empire was able to acquire. Once this stuff is obsolete no one will care if you own it. I believe to own armoured vehicles that the armourer in front of the driver must be replaced by soft sheet steel.
1
Just control it using your finger on the screen to move L, R , U, D. First few minutes I was moving my phone all around too.
1
Canada doesn’t even have a M109 loader! With a military hating Liberal government we’ll never see this
1
I’ve seen aC9 carbon up until the firing pin would not protrude. The user lost his voice when we asked if he changed barrels
1
You need more than ability, you need a large fleet. The Sherman and Russian tanks showed Germany that great tanks in limited quantities don’t win wars. Of course tanks alone don’t win wars but can win battles
1
better than the Brit WW2 rubber blow up tanks used to fool German aerial surveillance.
1
00 buck works in a pinch
1
Need to set your cam nets up higher to catch drones so they don’t get too close
1
We have issues at home with a government that doesn’t agree with you can freeze your bank accounts and all finances. They can remove your right to exist. Is it not a right to earn a living? When the state forces you to think their way or else is theft of Canadian freedoms? We need to get our house in order.
