  3. I take care of my LS1 in in my 02 Camaro 😊 has lots of miles on it but runs great. I would never want a VVT engine it’s just asking to be broken 😅

  11. LS1 Engine tear downs???😮 I’m interested to know what the common failure is on the LS1. I have a lot of miles on mine and I always change the oil regularly with synthetic Castrol 😊

  27. Full of insurance scams when it comes to vehicles. Also minor fender benders and physio scams one reason my insurance lowered certain coverage because a specific demographic was scamming the system. My insurance agent told me 😮

  41. Decades ago I blew my 53 Cadillac engine at an intersection. Rpm’ s went to 120 and blue smoke completely obscured the intersection. Chewed up piston in oil pan and holes through cylinders 😮

  43. I wouldn’t want an engine from a vehicle that’s been in a bad front end collision 😮My thinking is that it could bend ever so slightly internals that will with mileage prematurely wear it out. Is this a thing ?😅

  45. I had a 91 Jeep Cherokee years ago from new. Developed a ticking noise under warranty. They replaced the top end and noise didn’t go away so they replaced the short block. Lasted me almost 400,000 kms before developing a tick so I sold it. Excellent vehicle and easy to work on 😊

  49. My 2002 Camaro SS is rated at 28 mpg highway with the LS1😊this three cylinder should do better for mileage
