  1.  @thelasthalo  Yes and no. You get Early Access to the game even with the normal edition. Other Editions just has bonus. You can still play early, regardless of purchase before the actual launch.

  2. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy 14, you can order the regular edition of the game, and still get early access.

  3.  @D3K018  They are about to get there. With Skull and Bones burning, and with the drama surrounding the new Assassin's Creed, and how incompetent the design choices were. It's about there. AC is most likely their last, despite them announcing more games in development.
