  1. Doubt that they are losing money. The 20$ spent for a Token is 100% pocketed. - Player A buys Token for 20$ to buy said gold. - Player B farms gold to sell again for Token. - Rinse and Repeat. Blizzard essentially loses nothing since the money still gets funneled to the company and the game's ecosystem.
