I love the rain on a tin roof, kind of soothing

3 years now with just the van and me, no going back😊

45 minutes of enjoyable therapy de-stressing 😊
19
I hear and empathize with you, I get anxiety, sometimes things are really dark, it normally works it's self out.
15
That looks really nice, I must admit I like some cool weather
13
Great chat, I de-stress listening to your commentary
13
Thanks for the Aeropress filter tip
12
Heading off on my first overnight trip to test out the sleeping platform and mattress
11
Certainly a very interesting view, I don't mind the rain
10
Forgot to say, tonight I am officially houseless, after 21 years renting the same apartment, really big mixed emotions, Kia Kaha Kia Kaha Sean from New Zealand.
9
I use a Painter's drop cloth to cover my mattress, washs up easily at the laundromat
9
Well good news, I'm glad my favourite therapist will be a round for a while longer
9
Great Vlog to listen to, just did a 320km round trip to catch up with two of my daughters.
8
Don't worry about the haircut, you've still got more hair than me 😂
8
I love these chats, being on the other side of the world in New Zealand this is usually making a dinner chat.
8
Your videos are like comfort food to me at the moment, I'm hunkered down in my minivan working my way through a dose of Covid
7
Absolutely the essentials, a good torch, headlamp, and plenty of coffee
7
Yes, that particular feta is very tasty, a Greek lady said if you find the Feta too salty, tip out the brine it comes in and replace it with plain water.
6
Great tip about water temperature
6
Unwinding from the day here in New Zealand, PS thanks for the tip about how long to stand coffee before drinking.
6
Cost of living is pushing people to van life, where I live you need $900 per week after tax just to live.
6
This channel offers great de-stress support 😊
6
Even New Zealand 🇳🇿 we need people like Scott
6
Love your podcasts, quite soothing, sometimes I play them more than once.
5
Sure is, great to chill to
5
I also appreciate the honesty, the real deal as they say
5
Really great video, good to know that you can make a second shot quickly and with little fuss.
5
The parking signs remind me of Sydney Australia, where you can have a breakdown trying to decipher the crazy signs
5
@patsykluting-lucas3804 Well where I have lived for the last 21 years some one planted a pine nut tree that grows to 15 metres and so because I will quit this apartment this coming week I will plant it in the forest as the owners committee have decided to throw it away, I will plant it in a forest where it belongs.
5
The travel version is $340 USD in New Zealand
5
@StaticCamperVan All things are expensive in New Zealand
5
@StaticCamperVan True
5
I'm having fun making a 3 bean salad whilst I prep my van for a week working on Waiheke Island which lies off the Auckland New Zealand east coast
5
I always find Scott's videos interesting
5
Been a long day, enjoying the coffee chat as a de-stress
5
@StaticCamperVan Cool, love your channel and I just love coffee, cream, and honey, I think it might have been Slim Potato Head that gave your channel a heads up, I'm in New Zealand and have bought a big people mover which I will convert top a stealth camper as I am still working as a house carpenter, and I will put a fan in the van.

Hailing from New Zealand 🇳🇿 it's always nice when you take the time to show us some of the scenery
4
@jenniferb6789 Good lord no
4
Thanks for the tip about the paring knife in a previous video, went bought myself a paring knife and a tomato knife by Victorinox (Swiss Army knife manufacturer) and they are brilliant
4
So nice to relax and unwind to one of your vlogs after a day on a hot building site working with adults who behave like children
4
A lot of great information, I have a few regular spots (5) which I rotate, I am discreet though although if I have my privacy curtains up no will ever know that I am inside. Also I am working in construction and here in Auckland New Zealand we are in Covid lockdown which means the gyms are closed almost 3 months now so in the morning when I have a bird bath in my large storage locker and again in the evening, thank goodness I can hook into the shore near my unit to boil the kettle. We should be able to access the gyms in about 3 weeks, which means I have given myself a buzz cut haircut one again in my unit.
4
Great idea
4
Never noticed the ceiling stains, your vlogs are much more interesting
4
You don't need to be fancy to be happy
4
I agree, I've been driving in rush hour traffic chilling to this podcast
4
1.15pm Friday, Auckland, New Zealand, looking forward to my coffees tomorrow morning
4
If it tastes good then it is good
4
Same here, great way to unwind
4
Your van looks wonderful, I really love unwinding to your thoughts
4
It must be a very special feeling, the Kaikoura coast on the south Island of New Zealand gives me the same experience
