  1. Gas is determined by supply and demand. If demand is above supply you have to price some people out of the market to reduce supply to demand and visa versa. Remember during Trump gas was getting down to zero, and suppliers were complaining about the cost to transport it and some of the fracking sites were being closed for awhile because we had to much.
