  1. The Russians simply wouldn't let them leave. Also Europe is in way worse straits, they are economically doomed and are looking at the mass scale replacement of their populations by hostile Muslim migrants. Hopefully things will change, but if the current ruling class remains in place we are looking at the death of europe.
