  1. It is a matter of shared values and culture, if you have people with different ones then you can't work under the assumption that people will be honest or well meaning. Many of the foreign cultures will also have conflicting values to the point where coexistence was traditional only in the form of subjugation, we are now seeing why those sensitivities were in place in the first place. For example the British tended to get on with and find many points of cultural similarity with the Sikhs when in India, now that Sikhs are in Britain they continue to have warm relations with the surrounding Brits, Muslims have traditionally been loathed by the whole of Europe, now they are over here differences in how women are treated (e.g. the fact they aren't locked up and protected by their family due to a traditionally high trust society and the moral particularities of Christianity making most other people trustworthy and the remainder liable to execution historically) means that they sexually assault children on an industrial scale. Being more welcoming is not a resolution it is a curse on the people who have to pay the cost.

Unfortunately academia is basically driven by applying logical formulas which are filled with questionable assumptions to everything, hilarious when we consider that the people who created these formulas were often pretty open about the fact their intended purpose was not any genuine attempt at truth finding or logical consistency. I'm studying education at university at the moment and it has become clear that the entire subject is basically a joke, they don't have agreed definitions for things like knowledge or truth and they often don't understand any of the ideas they are working with but just regurgitate sociologists talking points. It makes one very worried for the future and has made it blindingly obvious that I'm going to have to home educate my children.

Considering some of the personalities in both world wars I have a feeling that a lot of the adventurous and mental sturdy types died in the trenches and the men who came back were disproportionately the chaff, though America had tiny casualties so they likely didn't suffer the same but then Americans were observed to be less sturdy from the first, which people at the time thought was to do with their lack of group cohesion and loyalty when in trying conditions.

  6. You are not taking into account their actual behaviour in society, it is very clear why very few societies are very accepting and why Christian ones in particular are outright hostile. It's basically have your cake and eat it too but it's also very normal for people to shape their norms to the status quo, though it does make the lack of principles very apparent. Before the Soviet Union fell conservatives in Russia were talking about a transition away from the negative parts of communism while keeping the rest, after it they were talking about bringing the Tsar back, people try to sense the air and pick their hill to die on, if you question certain things people stop listening as they have certain limits to what they are willing to contemplate.

Tribalism, the libertarian right were also more extreme on this and they basically only care about freedom and don't share anything beyond that with conservatives, with them largely being on the right due to hating the left more at the moment as they are the dominant group and also worshiping the American founding fathers to an extent which probably causes discomfort to Christians.

Relativism is nonsense but should be encouraged in enemies in order to weaken them, it is actively an acid when applied to societies as we function though agreements on common meanings.

Communists were conservative on the face of it but more like the Nazi's in reality in that it was an aesthetic and they were perfectly fine with disgusting things to happen behind closed doors or to people they viewed as subhuman.   28. Japan adopts foreign change but is not given change from within, before westernisation they based the country off the Chinese Imperial system and Confucianism. China was way more flexible than Japan, it's just that the West is a total outlier.
