  1. Their knives are made in China with the lowest quality steel in mass production, they are also a Chinese company who merely rent out a front office in Japan. Literally the whole thing is a scam, you can get high quality genuine Japanese kitchen knives a good deal cheaper if you just look, real Japanese businesses take reputation and customer satisfaction deathly seriously as a rule but they don't advertise much in foreign countries and especially not youtube videos.
