You are right about them going underground, I can tell you about a couple of their enterprises, they are heavily involved in the porn industry, often their associates produce stuff that is forced or coerced in terms of the women, they will pick up women to be models or harass them on the streets and then once at location that will force or trick them into signing a porn contract or just straight up rape them, this is a major problem and a lot of porn is produced this way. They are also involved in human trafficking. The other money maker is prostitution, but they often hook the women up to male host clubs where the women will buy male companionship, as they control both they get to double dip. They are not patriotic just territorial, most of them are Korean.
