I first I thought the government were just to thick to know what a Katana is, they do call them 'samurai swords' in legislation after all. Next they'll be calling Messers 'German butter knives'. Anyway, this is literally the most inconsequential sword type they could ban, it's like going after knives by banning Cretan ones.

My other comment had crusade references (which is a good thing, proposing effective solutions to problems is a good thing), this one didn't really, trying to stop people from condemning their souls follows on from the basic logic of Christianity, if there are Christians more mellow than that then they are the ones at risk. Is the last comment projection or just mean spirited, you don't know me, like most in my society I was brought up secular, likewise trying to be bad is in contradiction with the purpose of Christian moral thought. We aren't growing up in some made for TV movie.

  26. My experience is that Americans have it worse due to a ridiculous cost of living, but here in Britain things are the worst they've been in decades. Life if very difficult for anyone lower down the economic pile than a banker, lawyer or drug dealer.

Harry is from what I've seen a fairly undeveloped thinker, he is inoffensive at his most profound and tends to flip flop, basically he's young and doesn't know what he should think. The LE are unwatchable mostly when you get several of the worst contributors team up to talk either about something inane or something they don't understand. The Callum Harry combo is always strong as they have good chemistry, Carl carries anything he's on, Dan is likeable and Beau has very clear principles even if he is a bit of a wig and can go off on one talking about personal takes of limited relevance. The controversial ones are Josh (because he's bland), Stelios (because he's using the platform to single handedly fight a rear-guard action for liberalism, also he's way less profound than the others at the studio give him credit for), Charlie (because he's new and hasn't given people a reason to like him, It's probably not a good sign that I can't say more than that because I avoid him) and Connor (because he's in a constant flame war with the socially liberal side of the viewership, as well as seeming a bit superficial).

Interesting to hear that the marine bit was also wrong, to be fair to Josh I think the fact that he does more segments than any of the others by a significant margin limits the amount of research he can do, and into subjects that are not his speciality at all, I don't think he has his ear to the ground on much of this stuff like Harry does, that said he could at least have had a look at his wiki page. Vance is in contact with many other people on the more mainstream dissident right, he very likely knows who the Lotus Eaters, AA and various others are, if indeed he doesn't keep up with them.

The bit about the junkers is utter tosh, junkers were boys from military schools and they took up arms to defeat the reds, showing much greater bravery than most opponents of the new regime and paying dearly for it. Women mostly just hopped on board with the current thing, they were a useful social enforcement branch of the party but were not terribly relevant in contributions other than stupid social reforms that got repealed and brutist collaboration with groups like the chekists.

Someone a bit more on the inside of education here, you can't, there are mandatory and optional classes and they have put a lot of the questionable stuff under the mandatory because they claim they want to foster 'tolerance ' (an outright lie, it's to normalize it and they literature is quite open about that fact), up might also have to get through the head master even to stop your child from going to the optional classes and they can refuse and basically always will unless you are Muslim (and even that is becoming less sure) they might also report you for a hate incidence over it. I recommend home schooling, but the government is cracking down so even that is not safe in the long run.
