  1. Not really. We are proud as well. Despite the media sensationalism Megan is one of the mostly widely disliked public figures in this country (the list of less liked people is almost exclusively filled with our politicians) and given that she has absolutely no impact on the line of succession the currently hullabaloo is hardly even rocking the boat (beyond making her yet more reviled) compared to say Diana or basically anything Prince Andrew ever does. If you want a contrast look to the Spanish Royalty family which is in a pretty much permanent state of crisis.

  2.  @364Leinad  Nah mate, odd conclusion to jump to. That’s just how things are outside of the urban upper middle class bubble. This is a deeply conservative country you’ll find if you ever stray from the halls of power for there’s nothing more conservative than apathy.
