It is probably in the Hungarian national interest for Russia to win, the EU is after all an existential threat to national autonomy and the social influence of America on it's network of proxy states is proving to be an existential danger to the continuation of its subjects, both in terms of their unique cultural identities and even more seriously the long term existence of these ethnic groups as people's caused by low birthrates and replacement migration.

@martonlerant5672 I already view western states as highly dystopian, I won't however argue that Russia isn't also. But just as historically Hungary's status as a dysfunctional serf state does not mean I do not have sympathy for what the ottomans inflicted on them, even if they live under very poor circumstances I view continued existence as a higher priority than prosperity, even if both would be much preferred. I generally take this view of most groups, and if Russia was still soviet I would be overwhelmingly hostile towards them due to what they did to groups like the Tartars, Volga Germans, Cossacks and the higher estates, all of which were culturally of great value and interest, and Russia itself was diminished by their loss. Likewise the Hungarians are ancient and I support them in so far as what they are doing is in their own interest.

@tobias9859 I am against nationalism, it wiped out ancient peoples like the Transylvanian Saxons and is a fundamentally liberal ideology, people should be able to retain their own society in a wider state.
