  1. People need purpose to live. Purpose requires responsibility. Without either is there is only really social pressure, pride and survival to make living like a ghost insufficient in justification. Give people a role and they will fight to honour that trust. The best role lays in family as that is the buildingblock of civilisation. Work on the other hand can only be measured in money.
