It seems like the solution doesn't lay in normalizing divorce or becoming westerners (considering their divorce rate that actively wouldn't help). The solution seems to be to demonize cheating and to hold people responsible for it in the eyes of society whether it leads to divorce or not. Changing attitudes around marriage might also help, if you want love you have to cultivate it, it takes hard work but 'discovering' it is like panning for gold and has the same chance of long term prospects. If you want to work for the sake of your child work on your relationship. Obviously in this case the woman is faultless and once someone has broken vows it is beyond fixing. Demonizing the women who sleep with married men might be something as well. But such men can always lie, cheat with cheaters or go to prostitutes. Maybe we need some ancient wisdom, I believe the bible's was 'stone them, stone them all'.

Hey, if you did Britain's social issues it would be far more depressing than this. As human trafficking, underage grooming and police corruption aren't just major problems, they are commonplace ones. Plus you'd get your car firebombed within at week. Your Japan videos are really cheerful in that a discussion can happen in the first place. The experts you bring on are also sane (and have something of value to add), which is abnormal in western countries media. And there doesn't seem to be a pervasive fear around talking about things. Also no redefinition of terms to try and twist what the problem is. The widescale apathy to the issues is the same though.
